Locked is a serious game that raises awareness on the Covid 19. It is compatible with pc and mobile devices. The gameplay is simple and accessible, the player has to make choices by swiping cards left and right, altering the stats of a country. The goal is to reduce the coronavirus spreading rate under a threshold, learning about restrictive measures, information and useful actions to prevent the epidemy in real life scenarios.
We worked on all the aspects of the game from conception to release on several platforms.
We created this game in a 72 hours game jam during the Covid 19 lockdown period. The team wanted to contribute, sharing awareness in a new interactive way thanks to a serious game.
The game was very well received by videogame websites and became quite popular in that period.
